If you blog, you can't help but wonder who's reading. I use Statcounter for raw numbers (and it also gives locations and the ability to drill right down to ISP and even type of browser - not that I bother!)
Clearly I have only a fraction of the traffic that, say, Robin Hamman at Cybersoc gets, but there is a satisfying upward trend.

Statcounter looks nice, with lots of specific data. I'll have to give it a go. I currently use Mint, which is simpler but has pretty much everything I need. It's not free, but worth checking out the demo as a comparison:
